This is the life...

We spent Mother's Day weekend in Islamorada.  We stayed at the Islander where I stayed as a kid with my parents and grandparents and where my mom stayed as a kid with her parents and grandparents.  Aside from some interior upgrades and new pools, it hasn't changed much.

8 months old today and ready to take off for my first Keys trip!

The iguanas are making their way back to S. Florida.

We had to stop and browse at the Lobster store.  We couldn't convince Logan to pose for pictures with the lobster (I blame 3 days of no naps).

This was the absolute best nap of my life!  I woke up feeling so great.

The boys spent almost the entire time in the pool - with a few short breaks for fishing, "mudslides" and paddleboarding.  Logan was so great with Brady - he would pull him around the pool in his raft while the adults sat back and relaxed.

Totally beat from swimming all day.

Watching the paddleboarding.

Betsy, Bill, Logan and myself all went paddleboarding.  It was tons of fun and nobody fell.  I definitely see us doing it again.

A little hitchhiker made his way back with us.  He must have been hiding in the beach bag.  I actually feel bad that he lives here now and not in the Keys :(  He gave Bill quite the scare when he went to pick him up thinking it was one of Logan's toys!
