We spent the week after Christmas in Blue Ridge, GA with some friends. We were very lucky to have snow while we were there (their worst storm in 100 years). Of course the town wasn't prepared for that much snow so we had some difficulties. After having to spend the first night in a tiny lady bug and hornet infested house because the previous renters were snowed in at our real house, we got to our beautiful cabin. The kids had a great time sledding (Florida style - on boogie boards and pool rafts) and eating snow. It was the first time any of them had seen snow.
Our real house.
This snowman was already at our house when we arrived. Our kids didn't build any snowmen - they had more fun demolishing this one! After lots of karate chops and getting poked with his stick arms he didn't look the same :)
After 5 days there was hardly any snow left at all. This is what was left of Frosty.
Reese got her exercise with the snowless sledding.
Helen, GA - a cute little German village. Bill enjoyed the brats and beer.
