Here Comes Spiderman!

Logan picked out his costume all by himself this year. We thought he made a very handsome Spiderman.

Lining up for the parade.
Spiderman and his friend Captain America.
And he's off... He even told us we were going too slow!

Pumpkin Carving

We got our pumpkins a few weeks ago but waited until 2 days before Halloween to do the carving. I thought Logan would love pulling out the insides and squishing it up but I was wrong. After one touch he was grossed out!

The finished product.

Email

You know you no longer have a baby when you ask him to do something and he says "Hold on. I have to check my email first."

After a face plant into the sand (but still smiling as usual!)

Pumpkin Patch

We went on our annual trip to Bedner's to pretend that it's Fall. It was a little overcast which was nice because it was only in the 80s instead of the 90s.

Logan was in heaven here - all this free space to run laps.

Only take what you can carry... We need to teach him to lift with your legs not your back :)

The tractor hayride ride was a big hit.

We had a visitor come up near the tractor. We had hoped he would bring the Gators good luck later in the day. Not so much...
This year there was a corn maze set up. I don't know how Logan has so much energy but he just ran and ran and ran.

Go Gators!!!

Logan had his friends over for a Gator game. This is the only photo were they are all (sort of) looking at the camera. It's also the only photo Marley was able to squeeze into :)

Sanibel Island

We needed a last minute vacation so we booked a weekend in Sanibel. We had a great time. Pretty much all we did was run back and forth between the beach and the pool.

Dinner at the Island Cow. Logan loved all the cow decor and the birds outside. The next night he was really upset that the restaurant we chose didn't have parrots outside.
Our view. Not too bad.
This spider was enormous. Logan LOVED it!
Our nature walk.

It was a little windy. Logan's hair was standing straight up.

Summer Fun

First fishing lessons.

Dad's b-day party.

This part of the summer was not so fun...
But Logan managed to find ways to entertain himself! Hospital beds make great slides!
Hanging out at the library.
Fun times in the Keys!
He's actually asleep in this photo but Logan loved going out on Angelo's boat!

Seabrook Island, SC

Granddad and Mom-Mom graciously let us borrow their condo on Seabrook Island for Memorial Day. It was great to see them even if it was only for a few hours. Megan, Donnie and the girls rented a unit nearby and we had a great relaxing week. Betsy was even able to come stay for a few days. It has been very difficult to get back to the real world :)

View from the golf club.
Running up the dunes at North Beach.
Logan is completely obsessed with Reese and Quinn now. They had so much fun chasing each other around. Logan was yelling so much he lost his voice half way through the trip - he sounded like an old man when he talked.
The kids enjoyed burying each other in the sand and having sand castle wars.
Logan's very first bike ride. The rest of the week he always asked to ride bikes instead of driving in the car. He even fell sound asleep on one of our bike rides!
Gotta get your Gator pictures in.
We went to Charleston twice to go to the Aquarium and the Children's Museum. Unfortunately half of the South Carolina schools were also at the Aquarium on a field trip but we still had a great time.

Here is Logan ready to go watch Dora and Diego in 4D at the Aquarium. We don't count this as his first official movie because it was only 15 minutes. However, we did go see Kung Fu Panda 2 when we got back to Jacksonville. Bill and I didn't think it was as good as the first but Logan enjoyed it. He was so well behaved.
Dancing to the live entertainment at the marina after dinner.
Movie on the lawn at FreshField Village. I think we all secretly liked Diary of a Wimpy Kid :)
On the last day we made it down to the crabbing dock at the marsh. The view was beautiful.

Logan and Quinn had a jumping contest.
Our big catch (ignore the chicken neck!)
