Birthday Party #2

Of course Logan wanted to celebrate his first birthday with his friends so party #2 was on Saturday. The theme of the party was PIRATES!!!!

We had a Pirates of the Caribbean bounce house. Logan got to enjoy some time in it alone before the party started and the big kids (like Bill) took over.

I'm sure you're all wondering whether I made Logan's cake myself... my lips are sealed :)

We even had some real pirates come to the party! Ahoy Matey :)

AJ, Charlie and Maicie. We REALLY missed Reese and Quinn. Hopefully they are feeling better and we can see them soon!

Party pooper! Well it was 6:45 and he didn't take a nap all day long! It was exhausting for all of us!!!

We have no idea what happened to the past year. We blinked and our baby officially became a toddler. Since Logan's birthday was on a Thursday we had a family party at the house. We had granddad (all the way from NC), Aunt Jan (all the way from GA), and of course, Grandma, Grandpa and Lovey.

We held out and didn't allow any chocolate or sweets until it was officially his birthday. Not too sure about this at first...

He's definitely a chocaholic!!!! He loved the chocolate cupcake much more than the vanilla cake at his 2nd party.

Gotta love the chocolate mushed up in between the teeth!!!

Boca Playstation

We have a brand new indoor playground near our house. We took Logan to check it out on Sunday. He had a blast!!!

Please excuse the quality of the photos (as usual we forgot to bring a camera so these were taken with a cell phone).

Elmo even made a special appearance. I thought he would be scared of him. Instead he took off after Elmo, pushed some kids out of his way and crawled right into Elmo's lap. He's much more outgoing than either of his parents.
